Getting here
Getting here.
Everything practical, in one place. Isabel fills in the rest on the call.

Fly into Quito
The airport is Mariscal Sucre, code UIO. It is the only airport you need.
The drive
Up through the Andes and down into the forest, on a road in good condition. It is a long drive and it is part of the week: the landscape changes twice on the way.
Isabel tells you on the call which arrival times work, so you book flights once.
The shuttle
Add it when you book. Someone from Vibra meets you at arrivals and drives you in.
If you land late
Spend that night in Quito and come in the next morning. It is a better first day than arriving in the dark.
The weather
Warm days, cool evenings, and rain most days at some point.
What to pack
Light clothes for the day, something warm for the evenings, a rain jacket, shoes you do not mind getting muddy and a pair of sandals, and swimwear for the pool, the waterfall and the jacuzzi.
Signal
The wifi works. Heavy rain can cut it, and the power, for a while.
Safety
The nearest hospital is in Puyo, forty minutes away on a good road.
